Mrs. Hsu

I have been teaching since the year 2000. I previously taught fourth and fifth grade in Los Angeles and San Francisco before moving back home to Chicago. I was thankfully offered a position at Briar Glen in 2002. I now have been teaching third grade with my teammate Mrs. Clementi since 2005.

I spent my undergrad at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, where I received my bachelor's degree in biology. I continued my education at California State University, Long Beach, where I received my teaching credential. I now have my master's degree and continue to take classes to better educate my students.

I have been married since 2003 to Kevin Hsu. We have three boys: Logan (born April 29, 2006), Parker (born June 4, 2008), and Owen (born October 16, 2009). My boys keep me busy but I love spending time with my family!!
