The Community Consolidated School District 89 budget is a projection of estimated expenses and revenues for the upcoming fiscal year. (The fiscal year runs from July 1 through June 30.)

The budget is created by the Finance Department, working with members of all other school district departments. The budget must be presented in tentative form and publicly displayed for 30 days prior to a vote by the Board of Education.

The Board of Education must approve the Fiscal Year budget by September 30.
