Cheer on Glen Crest athletes in the Special Olympics Spring Games on May 4
Three Glen Crest Middle School students will compete in the 2025 Special Olympics Spring Games at Marmion Academy.

Enjoy student performances in Glen Crest’s ‘High School Musical’ on May 2-4
Performances will be at 7 p.m. Friday, May 2; 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday, May 3; and 2 p.m. Sunday, May 4, at Glen Crest.

Students and adults will have the opportunity to make crafts and assemble care packages to benefit others.

The Student Board Members will represent their classmates at monthly Board of Education meetings.

Giovanni Catalano will be the next Director of Buildings and Grounds
Catalano is the facilities operation manager responsible for buildings and property at the St. Charles North and St. Charles East high schools.

“SnapCodes” used to complete registration were mailed in March

CCSD 89 students earn musical honors at regional competition
Twenty-three band and orchestra students were honored for outstanding musical performances at the Illinois Grade School Music Association solo and ensemble contest.

Briar Glen teacher Shawn Barth is CCSD 89 Educator of the Year
Since starting at Briar Glen in 2002, Barth has taught first, second, and third grade.

The community event will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 12, at Glen Crest Middle School.
