Degrees and Certifications:

BA in Elementary Education - Ball State University MS in Mathematics Education - National Louis University Gifted Specialist Certification Nationally Board Certified Teacher (Middle Childhood Generalist)

Mrs. Morgan Aiello

I joined District 89 in 2007 as a fourth-grade teacher. I have taught fourth and fifth grade, but am now the Challenge teacher at Arbor View.I work with second- through fifth-grade students in the areas of STEM and Language Arts and Humanities (LAH).

I grew up in Indiana and completed my undergraduate work at Ball State University, earning both honors and elementary education degrees. A few years back, I joined National Louis University to begin my graduate studies, completing a master's of education in math education, with a focus on elementary math.

I continued adding to my credentials and became a certified elementary gifted specialist. As of December 2018, I am officially a Nationally Board Certified Teacher! Woo hoo!

Personally, I am a die-hard Colts and Ohio State fan. My husband and I love to attend concerts and have been taking our kids along for the ride.  As a family, we spend much of our time playing at the park, reading books, and making puzzles.

I am a reader - any genre, any subject - though fantasy is my favorite.  If I could go anywhere, it would be Hogwarts. Harry Potter is my main man!

My husband Ryan is a middle school special education teacher in Villa Park, as well as a drummer in his free time.

We have a bratty, cheese-loving dog named Bubba and a sweet, carrot-loving dog named Holly. We welcomed our first child, Hunter, in July of 2017 and our second child, Dean, in May of 2019. Life is great!
