Mrs. Maddy Potempa

Mrs. Potempa joined District 89 in 2023 as the Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Mrs. Potempa supports all buildings across the district.She collaborates with staff, families and students. She promotes positive behaviors that impact learning.  Mrs. Potempa graduated in 2014 from Illinois State University. She started teaching in 2014 as a Special Education Teacher working with students with all different types of abilities. In 2019, Mrs. Potempa went back to school to pursue her Learning Behavior Specialist II degree with her Board Certified Behavior Analyst certificate. 

When Mrs. Potempa is not at school, she enjoys reading, playing pickleball, and spending time with her dogs; Thor and Loki.
