    Metropolitan Family Services DuPage

    Part mentor, part motivator, part advocate, Metropolitan provides a wide variety of programs and services designed to strengthen families and help them realize their full potential.

     

    Bridge Communities, Inc.

    Bridge Communities serves homeless families in DuPage County with mentoring, housing and supportive services.

     

    Catholic Charities

    A faith-based organization that provides services to those in need. There is an office located in Lombard.

     

    DayOnePact

    The only life-spanning (birth to death) service coordination agency for people with developmental disabilities in DuPage County.  

     

    DuPage County Health Department

    Provides health services by partnering with existing providers, dental services and behavioral health care

     

    DuPage County Resource Information System

    DuPage Community Resource Information System (CRIS) is also a great resource for families. 

     

    DuPage Federation

    Resources and support for mental health services, early childhood, emergency assistance, language access resource center, and public benefits

     

    DuPage PADS

    Provides housing, support services and employment assistance

     

    Easter Seals DuPage & the Fox Valley Region

    Provides developmental services for children from screenings to specialized therapies

     

    Family Focus DuPage

    Provides parents and their children with critical resources and learning opportunities to encourage healthy development in their communities 

     

    Family Shelter Service

    Support services for domestic abuse

     

    Giant Steps

    Providing individuals with autism spectrum disorders and their families educational and therapeutic services

    One-on-one tutoring, conversation groups and workforce education.

     

    Partner Plan Act: Videos explaining early childhood programs

    The Illinois Action for Children produced a series of eight videos that explain early childhood programs and how the programs are funded. The videos help individuals that work with families and young children understand how they can best make referrals and connect them to helpful services.

     

    People’s Resource Center

    Provides food, clothing, rent assistance and skill-building resources for DuPage County residents.

     

    Project HELP DuPage

    Through home-based mentoring and parent education training, Project HELP provides parents with parenting tips, advice and support.

     

    Teen Parent Connection

    Provides young moms and dads with support, information and resources to navigate their lives as parents and teenagers.

     

    Western DuPage Special Recreation Association

    Recreational programs for children and adults of all ages with disabilities

    A collaborative network of volunteers and churches who serve refugees and immigrants in DuPage County
