Music Boosters selling trees, wreaths, holiday decorations to support students

Parents and community members can support CCSD 89 musicians by ordering trees, wreaths, and holiday decorations through the D89 Music Boosters Association. The last day to place an order is Tuesday, November 12.

The Boosters are selling 7- and 8-foot balsam fir trees ($75), 18-inch wreaths ($25), 24-inch wreaths ($30), and handmade wooden moose and reindeer ($25). Bows and pine cones can be added to wreaths for an additional $5.

You can place your order and see images of the items by using this form. At the bottom of the form are instructions for making at payment via Zelle, cash, or check. Cash and checks payments can be turned in to any CCSD 89 school office or CCSD 89 music teacher in an envelope labeled "MBA holiday sale" and your name.

Orders can be picked up between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday, December 7, at Glen Crest Middle School, 725 Sheehan Avenue, Glen Ellyn. All items must be picked up during this time.

Sales from trees, wreaths, and decorations support the D89 Music Boosters, a volunteer parent and teacher organization that supports music at all CCSD 89 schools through fundraising for music scholarships, instrument repairs, travel, accompanists, and more.
