Glen Parent Series hosts free, local talks on students and parenting
The Glenbard Parent Series (GPS) hosts free, local talks with insights on students and parenting.
This year’s speakers will begin with Dr. Ross Flowers speaking about positive psychology for athletes (August 20), ELL Coordinator Susanna Melon talking with bilingual parents about technology that can help you partner with your student (August 22), social worker Jonathan Singer talking about suicide prevention (August 28), and author David Grann (September 5).
The GPS mission is to encourage conversation around the opportunities and issues facing families today. All programs are free, no registration is required, and the public is welcome.
This year they have added four Glenbard Early Childhood events targeting parents with children birth to age 10. A mini-series of four films are also part of this year's programming.
