Registration will open for new and returning students on April 8
Community Consolidated School District 89 will open registration for both new and returning students on Wednesday, April 8. Families will be able to register at www.ccsd89.org/register starting at 8:30 a.m. April 8.
Families will need their SnapCode to register. Letters with each student’s individual “SnapCode” were mailed to all new and returning families on Friday, March 20. If you have not received your letter by April 8, please contact CCSD 89 registration at (630) 545-3514 or bkosartes@ccsd89.org.
The new-student residency verification events scheduled for March 23-25 have been postponed. Families of students who will be new to CCSD 89 in the 2020-21 school year will be able to register their student on April 8 with the CCSD 89 returning students.
Please note: New families will still have to prove residency and show an original birth certificate for their children to start school. The district has not yet set the date for the reschedule residency-verification events. Once schools re-open and the date for that event is set, families of new students will be contacted by email and the information will be posted on the district’s website.
If you do not receive the SnapCode via the U.S. mail - or you lose your SnapCode - you will need to call (630) 545-3514. You can see the documents you will need to prove residency here: https://www.ccsd89.org/Page/8699
Families who have received their SnapCode will use it when 2020-21 registration opens. A dark blue “2020-21 registration with SnapCode” button will be activated on the district's registration page (www.ccsd89.org/register) at that time. You can receive a $10 discount by completing registration before May 1.
Families of current eighth-grade students will be contacted by Glenbard District 87 and will be receiving more information from the high school about registering for 2020-21.
Families should not try to register before 8:30 a.m. April 8. Registering prior to that time will result in registration being discarded and the family will need to re-register.
More information about registration can be found at: www.ccsd89.org/register
If you have further questions, you can contact Barb Kosartes at (630) 545-3514 or bkosartes@ccsd89.org.
