Mrs. Emily Mittal

I have been teaching at Briar Glen since 2012. I went to the University of Iowa and received my undergraduate degree in Business Management with a Spanish minor. I worked in the business world of sales and management for 6 years. I went back to school in 2009 at Roosevelt University and received my Master's in Elementary Education. I graduated from Lewis University in December 2015 with my Master's as a Reading Specialist and completed my Learning Behavior Specialist endorsement (LBS-1) at that time as well. Before coming to Briar Glen, I taught 3rd and 4th grades, worked as a Reading Interventionist in CPS and with Special Education students.
