Ms. Monica Shekar

Monica Shekar is a National Board Certified Master math teacher since 2009. Ms. Shekar has two master's degrees - one in teacher leadership and the other in curriculum development. She has been teaching at Glen Crest since 2003.

Ms. Shekar also sponsors Math Club and coaches Glen Crest math team to participate in regional math competitions. In the evenings, she is a professor at Elgin Community College teaching math courses.
